Size Represents One Of The Following:

• Coupling Size, or
• Pipe size (NPT), or
• Hose ID size.

PIPE SIZE (NPT) is the accepted industry designation, not the actual
measured size.

To determine PIPE SIZE (NPT):

• Use a ruler to measure the Inside Diameter (ID) of the Hose Coupling
  or Outside Diameter (OD)of the Hose Coupling.
  
  
• Round up the measurement to the closest ID or OD listed in the chart
  below and select the corresponding PIPE SIZE (NPT).

(For example, if the ID or OD measures 1-3/16”, the next highest ID or OD in t
he chart is 1-3/8”, and the corresponding PIPE SIZE (NPT) is 1” )
